Measurements should be taken from the narrowest point of the place where the door or gate is going to be installed.

Measurements should always be given in X-Y order: first the horizontal measurement, which corresponds to X, and then the vertical measurement, which corresponds to Y.

Not following this order, or not stating clearly how the measurements have been taken, may result in a product that does not fit correctly. In that case, responsibility will lie with the person who provided the measurements.

What is the difference between a door and a gate in your catalogue?

In our catalogue, a door is a piece designed for an opening in a wall with a top section, which is why it includes a closed frame at the top as well.

A gate, on the other hand, is designed to close off a fence or an external wall. For this reason, it has no top section and is supported only at the sides.

When is it better to choose 1 leaf, 2 leaves, a large leaf or a sliding model?

The choice mainly depends on the size of the opening to be closed and on the space available for the opening movement.

With a hinged door or gate, the leaves should not be excessively wide, as depending on the type of door or gate and its own weight, they could drop over time or require additional reinforcements and posts.

Above certain dimensions, and depending on the model selected, it may be more advisable to manufacture the door or gate with two leaves or consider a sliding model, provided there is enough space for its travel.

What do I need to know about the ground? (slope, level) before choosing?
